The Story:
For awhile, there was a battle raging between women who thought there was nothing wrong in writing and reading chick lit and others who thought it was somehow demeaning or just a waste of time. This anthology came out in reaction to a short story collection called “This is Not Chick Lit” denouncing chick lit authors and the entire genre. I never liked the idea of someone telling me that I was dumb for reading (or writing) something. I love ALL kinds of books, and I really don’t have much patience for literary snobs. All books do not have to win National Book Awards to be worthy of a glance.

This anthology is fun. My story is about a commitment phobe and the lengths his girlfriend will go to get him to the altar.
